Where it began

2020 has really been a roller coaster of emotions for all of us. It has taken a toll on our mental and physical health. With everything going on in the world, it is a great time to start thinking about changes we can make in our everyday life. It is a time to reflect on what we can do for our body, community, and planet. Last year I really tried to watch plastic consumption and packaging in general. I cut back in so many ways, from going to bulk food groceries and taking my own bags to bringing my own cups to the coffee shop. I looked at each aspect of my life to see where I could cut back, but quickly realized it was nearly impossible when it came to the areas of beauty and skin care. I’d heard of refilleries in larger metropolitan areas and became intrigued by the idea. There was nothing like this in our area and during the shutdown I came to realize we should change that. Today I am now proud to say that Reduce & Reuse Refillery is the Miami Valley’s first mobile refillery. Join me in bringing our community together through positive change for our friends, family, and the world around us.

Our Refillables

We are always looking at ingredients, packaging, and how our products are made. Always trying to improve as we go along. Not only do we try to avoid single-use plastics in our packaging but also plastic in the products we put on our bodies. That’s right! There are plastics in a lot of the commercial products we put on our bodies! Our products use no plastic microbeads for exfoliants or polyethylene, a common microplastic found in many cosmetics. We look into products that have zero negative impact on the environment, making sure ingredients like palm oil are sustainably sourced, or avoided completely. Elevate your home and beauty care routine while investing in yourself and the planet.
